Improved Sleep | Stress Management | Self-Awareness | Self-Care
Alongside the therapeutic power of sound, the sound therapist incorporates a person-centred psychological model of self-exploration known as The 7 R’s Experiential Processing, a seven-stage process:
Recognition, Resonance, Resistance, Reflection, Responsibility, Release, Reframe
Through the therapeutic properties of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, and various idiophonic percussion instruments, the facilitator guides participants into an altered state of consciousness (ASC) and a state of deep relaxation, similar to those experienced during meditation or daydreaming. In this deeply relaxed state, Theta (4–8 Hz) and Alpha (8–12 Hz) brainwave activity may become more prominent. This state is associated with a range of potential benefits, including relaxation, reduced blood pressure, muscle relaxation, pain relief, enhanced imagination, mental clarity, a deeper sense of spiritual connection, greater appreciation of art, and an increased awareness of positive emotions.
During these sessions, participants are invited to explore anything they perceive as a source of resistance in their lives, such as physical pain, psychological trauma, phobias, limiting beliefs, negative emotions, self-destructive relationships, or habits.
Participants gain a deeper understanding of how and why sound affects them on a physical and emotional level.
They explore the connection between sound and the experiences, emotions, or patterns that create resistance in their lives.
They are encouraged to take responsibility for their personal process of release and transformation, opening the way to meaningful change.
They rediscover the joy of being in flow and learn to reconnect and align with it.
